Hey, I’m Josh

I spent 8 years shipping production software — agency work, enterprise design systems, SaaS platforms. Worked every layer from component architecture to cloud infrastructure. Learned how software should be built by building a lot of it.

Three years ago I went deep on AI. Not as a hobby — as a methodology. Multi-agent systems, RAG pipelines, LLM-powered tools in production. I developed a conviction that the future of software is orchestration, not implementation.

Today I run protoLabs, an AI-native consultancy and prototyping lab. I architect systems where AI agents do the building while I direct the product vision and system design.

I live in Portland with my wife. When I’m not orchestrating AI agents, I’m exploring restaurants, making digital art, or getting lost in a good game.
